NOS PARRAINS SUR L UTMB

Comme annoncé précédemment, ils seront 6 coureurs à défendre les couleurs de Pagala après avoir fait un don généreux à notre association lors des courses de l'UTMB à Chamonix fin Août.

My official acceptance into the UTMB was confirmed after both qualifying and discovering that through the solidarity process, I was able to pass through the lottery.  I chose Soutien Orphelinat Pagala as I have worked with youth programs in the past and while I was there to offer my services I found it extremely rewarding to be around the children and see them grow and develop.  I believe in the potential of children. Thus, having the opportunity to support an organization such as Soutien Orphelinat Pagala as a path to running the UTMB is truly a win-win.

Mon acceptation officielle dans le UTMB a été confirmée après les deux qualifications et la découverte que par le processus de solidarité, j'ai pu passer par la loterie.  J'ai choisi le soutien orphelinat Pagala comme j'ai travaillé avec des programmes pour les jeunes dans le passé et pendant que j'étais là pour offrir mes services, j'ai trouvé extrêmement gratifiant d'être autour des enfants et de les voir grandir et se développer.  Je crois au potentiel des enfants. Ainsi, avoir la possibilité de soutenir une organisation telle que soutien orphelinat Pagala comme un chemin vers la gestion de l’ UTMB est vraiment un gagnant-gagnant.

"le UTMB n'est pas seulement à propos de" moi, moi, moi ".  C'est une célébration de la vitalité de l'homme, de la beauté des montagnes et de la générosité de l'esprit.  Par conséquent, il est naturel pour moi de vouloir partager ma bonne fortune avec les autres.  Et les enfants de Pagala partageront l'excitation de la course aussi bien que les coureurs et tous les autres acteurs!

Après quelques années de triathlon longue distance (Ironman), j'ai quitté désormais bassins et routes pour profiter pleinement de la nature grâce au trail. Montant progressivement en kilomètrage et dénivelé chaque année, le challenge 2018 sera donc d'essayer de boucler la CCC. Notre petite famille étant ivoiro-bretonne, nous connaissons bien l'Afrique ; sa beauté, mais aussi le dénuement de  certains. C'est donc en toute logique que j'ai décidé de soutenir l'asso PAGALA avec un dossard solidaire. Quelle que soit son issue, ma course n'en sera que plus motivante et surtout plus utile!

                 After a few years of long distance Triathlon (Ironman), I left now basins and roads to take full advantage of nature through the trail. Gradually amounting to mileage and vertical difference each year, the challenge 2018 will be to try to close the CCC. Our small family is ivory-Breton, we know Africa well; Its beauty, but also the deprivation of some. It is therefore logical that I decided to support the Asso-gala with a bib in solidarity. Whatever its outcome, my race will be more motivating and especially more useful!

J'ai choisi de courir l’ UTMB pour l'Association Soutien Orphelinat Pagala carje suis un père, mes deux enfants ont la chance d'avoir deux parents, quatre grands-parents, une école, une maison, et sont entourés d'amour et de soutien. Je remercie Dieu tous les jours pour ma chance d’ être en mesure de voir cela. Il y a des enfants qui sont les plus vulnérables et innocents : ne pas avoir tout cela est inacceptable. Je dois faire quelque chose pour aider de quelque façon, même si ma contribution est petite. Tous les enfants sont nos enfants, et nous devons les protéger.

I chose to run the UTMB for Association Soutien Orphelinat Pagala as I am a father, my two children are lucky to have both parents, four grandparents, a school, a home, and are surrounded by love and support. I thank God everyday for my fortune to be able to see this. To know there are children, who are the most vulnerable and innocent not having any of this is unacceptable. I have to do something to help in any way, even though my contribution is small. All children are our children, and we must protect them.
